Gobi Rack with Yakima Timberline Towers

Is anyone running a Gobi Stealth Rack with Yakima Timberline Towers?

The reason I am looking at this is because I find it difficult for my wife and I to load 2-Tarpon120 Kayaks on the Gobi. I am thinking about getting the towers, the Streamline cross bars and the Boatloader EVO to help with loading and unloading. We may end up going with a lift assist kayak rack but thats TBD.

The main benefit for the Yakima bars is so it extends just past the body making it easier to load the kayak without denting the body.

I'd mount these towers on the Gobi
TimberLine Towers (Set of Four)

Using the core or jetstream bars

BoatLoader EVO

Thanks in advance.

Thanks! Unfortunately my kayaks are 30" wide so they can't go side by side.

A big benefit to having the extended bars is to have something to lean the kayak against.

just to close the loop on this.

I installed the yakima products mentioned above and it works flawlessly. I am able to get the kayaks on the roof with very little effort!
