Unfortunately, since I opened the interior tail gate panel yesterday to remove a big rusty piece of metal (see the picture), the defrost and the wiper refuse to work. The rusty metal piece was moving each time I close the tail gate with a terrible sound lol I checked the piece of wood and it seems my window is still fully up.
I live in Canada and as it’s winter, I need the defrost for my mirrors and for the tail gate glass.
Any idea where I should look?

Hi HunterQc,
I would check the harness under the center (Shifter) console; the plug for the rear window & seat heaters are all plugged together in that harness... could be loose(?)! It's very easy to access and to work on... no tools, just clips that hold the center-console down! You don't need to remove it, just lift it up SLIGHTLY... and you'll see it. Un-plug it and snap it back in... DONE!
~rig~ Cheers!
