Watching how the average person drives on the road, this is a very bad idea. Of course someone will do it for the 'gram per usual and I'll be waiting for the videos.

I guess my only point here is that you're making that decision of taking on risk for other drivers for them. If we're talking empty roads in the middle of nowhere, go for it. Although I'm selling my M3 (just more interested in house projects now-a-days), the reason I've kept it for so long is exactly what you described, so I get it.

I never ever said to do this stuff with a kid in the back, hell I can remember when we used to lay by the back window while dad was driving.

Driving used to be a skill. if you want to unlock all of your doors with a single push, great, very happy for you. if you want to have fun like we used to when driving was a skill, then you get it.

laws changed, safety equipment has changed, and I get that. not because of everyone, but because of a few.

now, going back to the spirit of this forum, which I had been gone for a while because I was sick of all of the attacks (not that there was anything in this post, it was all that is a cool idea if you do it off road with no kids and I can unlock all my door or roll down all of my windows). I shared a feature, I promised not to do it again, seems to of bothered way too many people. for those of you that like it, cool I love it.

going back into hiding for a while, I really don't like where this forum is heading anymore

I once drove for a whole month with my ABS not working, cause I stretched an ABS line. I' m sorry... for endangering everyone.

The ability to turn off you ABS is really handy when headed towards a cliff off road. That is when you want your wheels to lock and push dirt up in front of the tires to stop you.

My 2006 Nissan Frontier has ABS but doesn't have traction control. Amazing that I survived driving it for the last 13 years.

Funny thing we also had a 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5S (long gone) that didn't have ABS. Learned that real quick hitting the brakes at a stop sign in the snow. Pulled out the window sticker - sure enough, ABS was not listed.

Growing up in the Chicago area, the 1st snow of the year, we'd head to a large parking lot and practice our winter driving skills by doing donuts. I shared a front wheel drive 1986 Chevy Cavalier Z24 with my sister as my 1st car. Found I could get the best donuts by doing them in reverse.

I still practice my winter driving skills the 1st snow of the year. Just have to do them slower in these lifted, top heavy vehicles.

All these safety systems wont do crap for you if your following too close while texting on your cell phone, like 99% of the drivers out there are doing.
