eimkeith PCK kit Install/Review

I recently installed the Eimkeith PCK. Axle was 1” off center with 3” rear springs. Now the axle is centered. Rear suspension cycles much better. Doesn't feel as bound up. Took this off road and the rear feels much smoother. Everything is in place as it should be.

The PCK fit perfect. Prepped the parts and welded them up. Took roughly an hour from start to finish. I would recommend removing the rear spring for better angle when welding the spring side of the mount. Also, keep an eye on the brake lines and hoses in that area. I unbolted them and moved them away as best I could.

There are now 3 positions for the pan hard bar from OEM to 3" lift. I would suggest this for anyone with a rear lift. Great product at a great price!

Got my PCK installed at the truck shop in SD.

Fixed these issues:

centered rear axle, due to having a 3+ inch lift, my axle had shifted 1/2 inch passenger side. After install, my axle is now perfectly centered.

Fixed my rear axle bumpsteer or axle hop. I would also get a wobble or butt wiggle when going over freeway expansion joints at over 70 mph. Not very confident inspiring. This was due to having overly stiff springs / oversprung, and having a lift greater than 3 inches in the rear. Now, my vehicle tracks normally.

Driving in soft sand / powder dirt, my rear end would track sideways or fish tail even in 4hi, and i kept getting bogged. This fixed that issue.

panhard is now completely parallel with the axle/ground. Less body roll, less chance of roll over in theory.

Overall, not terribly expensive or time consuming to install. Just find a good welder.

cheers.

I didn't wait to encounter issues before installing one. The small shop that I used to install my lift also installed the PCK, lower link skids, and did a BMC at the same time. As this was my first 4Runner, I did a lot of research before settling on a lift and associated equipment, the PCK was a no brainer.

PCK makes spending hundreds on panhard bars pointless, AND has better geometry. such a great upgrade.

my panhard bar came with the kit, so it was a perfect time to complete the PCK when I upgraded my rear links

Yep, did this too and love it. OP, I like how you smoothed out the welds to make it look more OEM.

so should I even replace my panhard bar?

i'm going to the EimKeith PCK and Treaty Oaks KDSS spacer kit... once everything is installed, would I even need to replace the stock panhard bar?

I have the icon bar and am looking at the PCK as well. Mine with just the adjustable bar is not enough to get everything centered, I know of another KDSS owner that had to do both the PCK and the adjustable bar to really get things aligned. As always, just depends on your 4runner

Wonder if I ever went back to stock ride height, would the pan hard correction bracket still clear at full compression on a 5th Gen? Thanks. Tom
