Bilstein B12 Spring Kit 1-1.5" Rear Suspension Lift - Reviews?
Has anyone actually installed this new B12 rear spring kit for the 1-1.5" lift (normal load)?
I'm so close to purchasing these so I've been looking for reviews all over the inter-webs, and can't find any.
If you have installed them, or even the 1.5-2" or the 1.5" heavy load, please let us know your thoughts.
Pics/reviews would be most appreciated!!!

Looking forward to seeing the results! I have the 1” springs on route now. The 6112/5160 shocks are on back order so unfortunately I will have to wait for those before install. I’ll post my results with photos, but you would have probably made your decision by then.

Are you just wanting 1” of lift and no additional load capacity? I talked to the bilstein engineers about these springs before I did my lift. I would have bought them but they weren’t available. I got tired of waiting and bought the Eibach 1” springs that have a 10% stiffer rate. The Eibachs were also cheaper.

When I asked, Bilstein said factory rate. They never gave me a number.

Hey
@ Harrisnc
... The only extra 100% constant load is that stupid sliding cargo tray and then 75% constant load I have is my 65lb lab, ~50lb bike rack with 1-2 bikes coming in at an additional 20-40 lbs. So I guess that adds an extra 155 lbs, then 5-8 times a year we add an extra 150lbs of camping crap on to that. So I'm still way under the 400lb constant.
Thoughts?
Do you have a good shop up in CLT? I'm down in Spartanburg.

I’ve had my bike rack, 3 bikes, kid and less than 200lbs of gear in mine and it still has some rake. Daily driving, I can tell it’s firmer butit I don’t know how much of that is the shocks.
As far as shops, I do most of my own work. There are two shops here that I’ve used but I’ve had issues both.

So I'm ready to add a lift to my 4th gen. I've read the ome springs can be a little too stiff especially in the back, and saw these b12s ... They look promising. Curious to hear everyone's thoughts as well. Thanks

On backorder
Like everything Bilstein mines on backorder but it sounds like it’ll ship any day now after waiting 5 weeks. I opted for the heavy duty with 5100 all around because I plan to use it for a tow vehicle for a 4000lb trailer in the summer. Tongue weight droops my stock rear suspension down to the bump stop and is well over 400lbs. I’ve carried my small snowblower on a hitch carrier and thought the camper would be similar, but it’s way more sag than I’m comfortable driving at highway speed.
I’ll post pics when done.
