I was looking at this last night. their website lists it as $1,800. I assume this is US $. wow is it worth that much??? has more function than the wilco solo high clearance which is about $1,000

New they aren't worth it at 1800. You can probably get it for way cheaper used. My buddy got a clean example for 1k with all the goodies used on the FB marketplace.

I was wrong. the price was listed in CAD - whatever payment processing software they have must have known I'm in Canada and gave me CAD prices, had to go all the way to checkout screen to see that though. that makes a lot more sense. so about $1,400 USD for a new one. still not cheap. but $1400 or $1800 USD is a huge price difference for me I have to factor 30% extra cost for currency + duty/tax into canada which is based on the CAD value of the goods

I'm about 40+ hours away from california. 2-3 hours north of buffalo NY so pretty far. it would be hundreds of $ US to ship it privately from california to where I live. rigd will ship it for $120 CAD which is actually good

I am checking for used around here though, that's my preference but I am limited... should have moved to california or utah when I had the chance lol

Get a US mailing box from a Niagara Falls USA ( free’ish - they only charge to accept the package and store it if needed )

Ship it to that location then drive down pick it up install it then head back.

Maybe you were looking at a car if customs asks.

I use CBI and they have a pretty minimal storage fee so your not rushed for pick up.

I thought about it, my wife and I go back and forth on it. when she worked in niagara falls area many of her coworkers had mailboxes in the states for that exact reason. 20 minute drive to the border. many more products available when you can ship within states at low cost and don't have to pay duty. I didn't know about CBI. I'll have a look at them thanks. it's a long ass drive to get to buffalo from where I am which is why we haven't gotten a mailbox there yet

I know this thread is a little dated but is anyone running the Multi fit version on a 5th gen? Rigd said it would work but just stick out an inch farther than the 4runner one.
