In the span of about a year, the durobumps are about $100 more expensive than last year. @plasticman did manufacturing costs double or something?

Last night I submitted a warranty request to DuroBumps. Rear DuroBumps are still doing the job fine. My front DuroBumps are TOAST to the point of the front coilovers bottoming out after just under two years. I put $30 Energy bumps on the front and it fixed the bottom out condition (couldn't find the factory bumps in my misc box) I really thought the DuroBumps would have went longer than they did given the hype... We were both rude with each other before DuroBumps denied my warranty request.

There's definitely some hype! What's BS is these $30 Energy bumps stops I bought on Amazon are doing the job almost as well as the DuroBumps did when they were new.

YUP.

Pretty much all of buddies and myself, run the same ES bump stops as you in the front and are pretty happy with them.

People can spend their money however they want, but man....they are getting their wallets taken for a ride.

Really cool info here. I wonder if anyone has experience with King Shocks? Are they worth the price ?

I put a set of Energy Suspension bump stops (8.9103) on front of my 4th gen a month or so ago and they are about an inch thinner than the stock ones, which means my up travel is increased somewhat I guess. I don't off road so probably not as noticeable as if I did.

As long as you're down for a setup that could potentially be maintenance intensive, I can't think of another manufacturer that can take the hard wheeling punishment I've seen Kings withstand!

king bling blue.... I did it for the stickers.

Most people i run with end up with Kings in the long run, and i think it just comes down to that Most shops in my area can easily service them and have quick turn around time.

Otherwise, there is a lot of options out there, but go with the one that is locally supported.

Blue Sumo Springs.

About 10k miles on them, on- and off-road. Firmer ride. No more nose dive.

Great info here, really helped me out. I'm going with ES fronts and the Gx460 rears.

I just put the energy suspension 8.9104g units on my front end. They feel great so far. With my 6112s at 2” in the front and these bumps, I can blast through dips and over speed bumps and it truly soaks it all up. My rear end on the other hand… does not keep up. With stock shocks and bumps.

My other vehicle is a KDSS GX460 that is still riding on the factory suspension (Don't buy Icons, both fronts arrived leaking). I think the factory rear GX bumps are definitely superior to the 4R's but I don't think they're good enough to buy over aftermarket bumps. Bigger hits in the GX are definitely quieter but only slightly less jarring compared to a 4R on it's own factory bumps. I know that might fly in the face of all the hype the GX bumps are getting right now but it's just my opinion. I wish I could encourage you to buy rear DuroBumps because they've honestly done well for me but I can't recommend them as Timbrens are the same money with a real proven warranty...

Update: Just noticed the bump stop is a bit long and folds over itself at initial contact. I may cut the first section off so it makes contact square with the arms.
