I have not tested a set - but the GX460 rear bumps are different from the 4Runner ones. They're significantly taller and softer. $50ea. I *think* they would be a bolt in swap, but I haven't personally tried it.



You'd want the ones for the models with air springs. I think the coil spring models are the same as the 4Runner. It's wierdly hard to find a good photo of them. But here's what they look like:

Yes please do I've been waiting for their rear 3-3.5" inch version to be released, not sure about paying for their current price though...BUT since we saved so much on the fronts it helps offset the cost.

My kids and wife sit in the back when we wheel and recently she had enough of the rear ass bottoming out on a few technical areas at the OR park

I seen a Tacoma guy rear durabump crack at the bolt area since it was all rubber, DB needs to brace it better with a back plate or washer, it's very possible it could of been over torqued during install.

I have the Toytec Aluminum Bump Stop Spacer, and I love them. It's essentially a 2" block that spaces your OEM bump stop, helps with stuffing in the rear more than words can describe.

I'm running Bilstein 5100's all around with OME 885's in the front and OME 889'S in the rear. This equates to a 3" lift from what I'm told.

With the higher lift wouldn't I be less likely to hit the bumps stomps? I'm just trying to figure out why I would need to upgrade bump stops? Forgive my Noob question.

Yes, you are less likely to hit the bump stops because of the lift. The problem that comes up is if your shock bottoms out (compresses too much) before the suspension hits the bump stop. It can destroy the shock. An appropriate sized extended bump stop will prevent that.

I’m not sure of the limits of the Bilsteins.

You can also use bump stops to prevent rubbing or over stuffing of the rear wheels up into the fender.

There should be no difference unless something was way off. Like if the suspension was sitting on, or very close to the bump stops. More likely in a lowered vehicle.

Really happy with Durobump all around, here. Ride on and off-road has improved greatly over big bumps! I wouldn't hesitate.
