cool that's what i was expecting from those ones. a nice progressive bump instead of the rock hard OEM stop lol.
Dirt King Fabrication has a hydraulic bump stop kit for the front end on a stock width setup but they won't be releasing it for a while as they have bigger products they want to get to market first :/

I pulled the trigger on the energy suspension bump stops for the front. I just wanted to be sure these are correct as they say rear, and see how they are holding up?

just installed these exact ones on my car over the weekend. i did not jack the car up and getting enough clearance to screw them in with an allen wrench was a huge PITA. ended up cutting down a wrench with a dremel to make it all work. definitely an upgrade over stock though

Ok thanks for the sanity check. It does look like I can get away with not busting out the jack. They managed to forget my mounting bolts even though the bag was sealed, I’ll pick some up tomorrow.

Have handy a pipe wrench or a channel lock wrench to take the stock BS off. Fyi the energy suspension screws used allen bolts, so a socket with matching allen head might be handy as well depending on the option of the bolt you choose. Just keep in mind your tool or socket used has to clear the ID of the bushing. A single L shaped allen key can be too short on one end to use and the long end can be too long, it might make contact with the LCA so that is why your T4R brothers lift theirs for the clearance to install these bump stops.

Thanks I appreciate the tips, I’ll bust out the jack if I can’t sneak an Allen socket in there. I’m thinking these channel locks will suffice.

Unless you have the perfect height wrench it will likely just be easier for you to jack it up. They also forgot my bolts as well.

I just installed Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops front and rear.
I have Kings all around.
I measure 3.5" between the rear bump stops and the axle now. Do I need some sort of spacer to get it closer to the axle?
It doesn't seem like they would engage because it looks like my shocks are compressing 3.5" max. At least that's what the "clean area" on the shock shaft measured.

How tall are the rear Timbren bumpstops? I've got the Lexus bumps installed.
Which Kings do you have? I've got standard length (OEM series).
Which rear springs are you running too? I'm on Icon 2" springs
