Clazzio USA Custom Seat Covers Installed

Became a T4R member shortly after purchasing my ‘19 T4R TRD OR in late April. This is my first thread post.

Been a couple of days since I installed my Clazzio Leather USA (expedited) custom color seat covers. They took about 2.5 weeks to arrive after placing the order. I only went the expedited route because I didn’t want to trash the factory fabric with all the off road we’ve been doing lately. The covers produced in Asia are an 8-12 week wait.

I’ve installed Clazzio covers on an F150 before, so the T4R went smoothly in about 2.5 - 3 hours. The instructions were outdated and poorly written. I recommend the F150 Clazzio installation videos on YouTube regardless of the model you’re installing. Helps immensely! Take your time and pull evenly a bit at a time to avoid damage.

I went with dark gray vinyl with light gray leather inserts and red thread to match the TRD factory thread on the console cover and doors. I really hate black interiors in Florida. I was worried that I wouldn’t like the custom color choice, but I LOVE the look installed. The light gray matches the headliner and pillars and the dark gray works well with the black and red.

The Clazzio cover set for the 5th Gen T4R doesn’t include the center console. The rear fold down armrest with cup holder is included and fits quite well. Overall the rear covers fit tighter than the front, but they all look pretty nice.

The photos are right after install. The wrinkles smoothed out on the vinyl and the leather has tightened up some.

Yes, the coupon did help ease the pain a little. They start out a bit expensive and jump quickly when you pick custom colors and USA manufacture to speed things up. Great product but not cheap!

Those look amazing!!! I never would have imagined that seat covers could take that long to install though. If you don't mind, how much around did this set up set you back??

Thnx!

Thanks!

Installation takes a few hours because the Clazzio seat covers fit VERY tight. They go under most of the plastic trim pieces, so they end up looking almost like upholstered seats instead of typical covers that slip on. You have to take your time and slowly shove them over the seats and massage them into place to avoid damage. Your fingers will be tired and sore when you're finished. The results are seat covers that don't look like seat covers!

If you go with solid color vinyl with leather inserts (Black or Gray covers in stock) they run $599 minus the 10% off mentioned above. These typically arrive in about a week. That was my experience when I purchased solid gray covers for my F150. Quality is excellent!

Custom ordered vinyl with leather insert seat covers are $699 minus 10% coupon code. Thread color choice doesn't affect the price. These are made in Asia to order and take 8-12 weeks. Quality is excellent!

For my 4Runner, I chose to go with the USA made vinyl with leather insert covers for $699 + $150 (minus 10% coupon code). These took about 2.5 weeks to be delivered. They make them in California and ship way quicker, but you pay more. There's no quality difference between the USA and Asian manufactured covers that I can tell. The material and construction looks identical and quality is excellent!

$764.10 is a lot for seat covers, but I really hated the black factory fabric and I didn't want to wait 8-12 weeks.
