ARB twin compressor + Slee bracket fit w/out manifold?

For those of you who installed a CKMTA12 in your 5th Gen using a Slee driver-side bracket, were you able to get it to fit with the standard ARB quick-disconnect (included in the Inflation Kit) without jumping through any hoops? It looks like the fitting may get very close to contacting the hood with it sticking straight up in the 'stock' position, and I'd rather not do the trial-and-error thing in the middle of an install.

Slee didn't seem to know for sure one way or another, but some seem to think that I may need to install the manifold in order to move the fitting lower. I'm only using the compressor for airing up tires so I don't really see the need for the additional connection that the manifold provides, and would prefer to save the $80 if I can avoid it.

Any quick answers and/or pics would help tremendously, as I'm having it installed this afternoon.

Thanks!

Oh yeah, and for the record, I did read through as many ARB install threads as I ran across, and didn't find the issue addressed, nor pictures to shed light. I'll provide images one way or another once the install is done.

Bump as I'm having the same issue as well and am in the middle of the install. Curious to hear anybody else's experience.

It will fit without the manifold.

I have the twin arb compressor (No manifold yet) with the Slee off road mount, no clearance issues with the hood.

How much vertical room is there between the Slee bracket and the hood? I was thinking about trying to mount my Viair 88p in that spot. And yes the bracket would cost my than my compressor but it works. 😀

Get the specs of the height of each, and you should be able to determine the likelihood of it fitting. I kind of doubt it, since Viair's seem to be taller, in general.

Bumping an old thread as to not start a new redundant thread.. but how the hell did you FIT that setup in there? I have a 20204runner that I used the relocation bracket for the fuse relay box but was still having one hell of a time putting the m6 bolts down there with the compressor on the mount. Is it somehow possible to bolt the mount and the compressor there after???

I am pretty sure the compressor HAS to be mounted prior to SLEE install
I didn’t relocate anything but remember installing this was one of the worst days of my life...somehow found ONE VERY SPECIFIC WAY my hand/arm would fit n tons of tiny rotations of bolt
Advice>take breaks
In the end it works great, mounted my switch right next to compressor, n now working on a second fuse box
