Suspension help

Hello all, I am ready for the flame, I have searched, and maybe I am just to frustrated or tired at this point, but I am unable to be 100% sure what the hell I am driving! I have a 2011 limited. All time 4wd, ATRAC, DAC, on/off RSCA, and on/off traction control. I did not think that I had the KDSS and ordered my lift accordingly, today was the day. I got her all off the ground and wheels off and I noticed this..(SORRY FOR THE SIZE). It appears to be a hydraulic line at the top of the strut. Pictured is the R rear, it is on both sides. Also on the frame if you follow the line up is a cylinder? Some kind of piston maybe. I am at a loss, maybe I should step away and look at it tomorrow, but I know me and I will just get more frustrated searching. If I do not have KDSS which I am fairly certain I don't, what do I have and what do I need to finish the lift?

Flame on.

Dan

On a Limited, you have what is called the X-REAS suspension.

As Bossman stated, you have X-REAS, which all 2010+ (5th Gen) 4Runner Limiteds come with. If you have a new suspension system (shocks) for all four corners, then you should be good to go. The 'hydraulic' lines of x-reas cross link the wheels. You'll no longer have that once you put in new shocks.

Limited Lift to preserve XREAS

5th Gen Limited w/XREAS - Level?

Can I lift my Limited 5th gen w/o scrapping the XREAS

Many Thanks!!

Totally grateful for the instructions, this site kicks ass! I got the job done today. I use the hack away method I used to deploy on the 80 when I had it. Success is in the pics....(forgive the discount tire wheels, they were bought a long time ago in desperation)
