I like this shop and they’ve always been good to us so I expect this experience to be no different but I’m wondering if there’s anything special outside of obvious leaks we should look out for when we get the vehicle back? It’s a limited AWD if it makes any difference.

As far as leaks go, any leak is a bad one. Unless it's the A/C condensation. Just check it once a week or so for wet spots. My concern would be that if they broke the case just tightening the drain plug, do you really trust them to R&R the transfer case. As well as trusting them to open up the t-case to replace the busted lower half of the case?
