Aftermarket Skid Plates and Front Jack Point

Had to jack up the front of the 4Runner today using the jack point on the front skid plate and was wondering if there were other aftermarket front skids that had the same capability. I know the TRD Pro skid has a similar nub with some sort of connection to a crossmember found on the factory steel skids however witnessing first hand the TRD Pro skids not holding up would rather not buy the TRD skid.

Would prefer to not having to remove the skid when changing out the oil filter or raising the front of the vehicle.

Thanks!

I jack directly in the center of my smashed up aluminum RCI skid no problem. If your skid can’t handle the weight in this scenario you shouldn’t be trusting it for off road protection

Budbuilt has the same support as the OEM that goes to the crossmember.

Would the skid deform as you use it as a jack mount? I'm thinking it would I know it would do the job of supporting the vehicle but if I don't have to deform the plate before actual offroad use then RCI would win over Budbuilt due to availability/price.

Nope it doesn't and this is even with an already deformed skid plate. Ive jacked it this way probably 50+ times

How is your aluminum RCI skid plate? Does it hold up when you jack up your 4runner? Does it replace the plate behind the skid also?

My RCI aluminum skid does not deform under jack load FWIW.
