Did you put in a sway bar relocate spacer? If you did you need to space out your radiator supports too.

In a pickle with suspension, need some guidance.
Update
I went back to my installer today and they checked it out. They were just as stumped as me. Again everything was tight and nothing seemed to be rubbing.
The shop boss said he thinks it the valving in the shock. I made another appointment to return it to stock.
He also made it seem like if I go back to stock it will still make the feeling/noise.
I suppose it kind of make a little sense. If the piston is designed to ride in a certain region of the shock and now I have added 1” +/- to that it now rides in a unintended place. Not sure if the Pro Bilsteins have internal valving.
To me it definitely feels like something is making contact. But I know Toyota had issues with the early pros Bilsteins and to my knowledge that’s why they switched the Fox.
I also emailed Toytec and asked about the relocation bracket. They said they have never heard of the swaybar contacting anything with the TrdPro spacer lift.
I kind of wonder if I can find some Fox take offs for a good deal???

You need to go back and tell that "shop boss" he's as dumb as a box of rocks! That's total BS!!! Did you look at my post to my lift I referred you to? I'm lifted 2.5" on stock Pro shocks with a longer and heavier spring. Mine are as quiet as stock. Many other people are listed on stock Pro shocks. I think you need a new shop that knows what they are doing our learn to wrench yourself.
What issues did Toyota have with early Pro Bilsteins??? They used them for 4 years and I haven't heard of any issues like this. I have two Pros, a 16 and a 18, and they have no issues. Not sure what prompted the switch to Fox but my guess is the Tundra and Tacoma were already using them.

Also just noticed that you have SPC ucas. Are you sure these were installed correctly and torqued properly? Tires must be on the ground with full weight when torqued. Also did you have it aligned?

Thanks guys. It’s a pretty reputable shop. They have been in business a long time. I don’t want to start slamming them.
I wish I could have done the work myself, the thing holding me back is the lack of equipment to take the strut apart.
I guess it boils down to I wish I had not went with the spacer lift. It seemed like the best option at the time.
The plan as of now is still go back to stock and regroup. Unless I find a Toyota specific shop to check it out and give me a second opinion.
I am not sure the details of the installation of the UCAs. They said they were familiar with SPC gear. I rechecked torques and everything was good. It was aligned after the installation.
I tried clicking the link to your thread but it didn’t go to the right thread.

Try these links, one should work.
Another Pro Lifted with 6112s (pics and measurements) UPDATE: Added 285s

I understand you don't want to question your shops abilities but when they go spouting off stupid stuff like that it's time to back up just a bit. Pro shocks are basically the same as the bilstein 6112s except not having the ride height clip settings. These are adjustable from 0-2.5".
You still didn't address where you got the information on all of these Pros having issues with the factory shocks. Did this shop feed you this info??
Also you don't need any special tools to compress the springs. Did mine in my garage. After going very slow on the first side the other took me about 15 minutes.

You need to space the radiator supports down (I got rid of mine with the new skids, then eventually removed the sway bar). The sway bar is hitting them like you said.
To see if that is the problem take your front skid off and then the radiator supports and drive around for a bit and see if the sound is gone.
Problem solved, go about your day.

In a pickle with suspension, need some guidance.
****UPDATE****
I found a much better shop locally and they are down the road instead of across town!
Anyhow they were very helpful and patient with me. I took the took on a long test drive, of course it wasn’t making the noise right away and then we found just the right road and it started singing.
Got back to the shop and started looking over things. He had mentioned that if the a arms were installed on a lift in the air and torqued when the trucks are on the ground it puts the bushings in a bind. He loosened the long bolt for the a arms and he heard it pop like the bushings relaxed.
We were actually able to shake the truck side to side and duplicate the noise. The tech climbed underneath and just started feeling everything.
Turns out it’s the driver side a arm bushing making the noise. It is resonating through the a arms and into the rest of the suspension system.
I’ll be contacting SPC Monday to see what my options are. I’m thinking that it was improperly installed and either it just needs new bushings, or they didn’t grease it right, and the bolt just needs pulled out and everything greased and put back together
