I am sure that would probably work. I store mine inside the house during the summer and in the attic in the winter. I don't think 130 degrees would be good for the magnets.

Put on the Goat Armor with my new SCS Ray10s this past weekend. TBH, the white topo blends in great with the factory silver paint. I've seen some of the silver base offerings in person and they look almost like cement when compared to the factory paint. I really hate taking it off the truck as the truck looks so boring without it, lol.

Do you guys think these are thick enough to provide any meaningful protection against door dings?

I think it might help some.
I received an email from them yesterday regarding BF discounts. This is what they stated:
“Our Black Friday deal is a bit different this year. We are rolling out a new material that is better quality and durability. It also can be left on the vehicle longer. This will cause a price increase. For Black Friday we are offering an sales put in by Cyber Monday to receive the new material at the current price.”

Going to get in on the new goat armor material for Black Friday. Need some support on the pattern. You all think matte Hexco White Cement would look great on a black 4runner? Here it is on a black taco and a white 4runner with black bumper and fender flares.

Looking into getting a set of these. Has anyone noticed any dirt scratches from Taking these on or Off. Any special car required when installing them?
TIA

A couple of tips:
1. Put them on before a trip and take them off after no matter how much of a hassle it is. Don't leave them on, especially if it is hot. They will jack up your clear coat if you leave them on in the hot sun.
2. Store them flat and don't store them in a hot attic.
I never had any problems with scratches left by dirt underneath, but I always wash the vehicle before I put them on.

I use them on a black pro. I have the new version that is vinyl backed. I put them on before wheeling and take them off after. I wipe them down really well and store them flat in a covered box to keep debris out. Haven’t noticed any issues yet but if you use them because you rub trees on the trail you aren’t too worried about the potential for slight marring under them from putting them on and taking them off. The alternative of massive pinstripes is much worse. I haven’t even washed the car before using them, but rather do a half ass job with a spray detail and call it good . Just don’t slide them around to position them. You need to lift them off completely and reset.
I like them!

Anyone else out there using Goat on a black truck. I had them on for 4 days after off-roading in the rain. Seems that moisture was trapped under them and created holographic Swiss cheese look on the paint wherever the magnets were covering. Think this is etched into whatever wax I have left on the truck. Buffed a test area by hand woth paint cleaner and then a cleaner wax which seems to take it off or at least minimize it. It took two tries to get it reduced to acceptable level.
Anyone have this issue?? Sucks that I need to buff the truck despite using them to avoid buffing. Next time I use in water or rain I’ll pull them off same day. I’m even wondering if this can happen from the dew point. Frustrated….

Nautical Blue and same story with moisture / dust trapped under edges of the shield. But I don't give a damn about it any more - adds more character along with old pin stripes and dents
PS: and I forgot when I was claying it last time...

I tested a spot doing medium clay. Doesn’t help. Looks like a paint cleaner is doing the job by hand.
My wheels and rear Bumper make it look like I don’t care about scratches. Trying to salvage the paint on the rest of the truck. People must think I hit curbs daily the way the wheels look. Wish they came stock with a deeper dish and a fake bead lock that’s not metal to avoid getting so cut up on rocks.
I also took on deep gouges in my new KO2 sidewalls. Sucks. Seems ok but I don’t know when something like that is unsafe.
