Any plans on making sections to cover A pillars and/or hoods?

Do you have any pictures of Nautical Blue Metallic wearing your armor?

The hood would be sketchy, especislly on a highway. Though unlikely, i wouldn't chan e a bit of air getting under the front and then quickly pealing the hood armor back like a can of sardines... right into the windshield

BEFORE and AFTER

And just a note, the section that goes between the back window and the rear side window (can't remember what that's called) that has the SR5, or TRD Off-Road, or the TRD PRO, you will have to cut the piece in two and remove a section so that the magnet doesn't go over it. I found out the hard way. Had to shag it off a highway.

I'm also checking to see if there is anything that can be done to protect the plastic fenders such as Clear Bra or something like that. I'll let you know. I may just put a piece of tape on each of the door handles to protect them if I get into some heavy brush. Clear Bra may work for the fenders but not sure if anyone would install just them and not sure about the cost either.

Sweet rig! Let us know how the armor holds up and how well it protects on the trails. Also, did you have any rubbing with your Ray10-KO2s? I have a similar setup with a 2.5” lift about to be installed. Want to make sure no BMC is required.

I had to take the mud flaps off and do a fender liner mod which was easy but no BMC. One day I'll go to 34's and have to do a BMC. 4.56 will be necessary at that point. Not enough crawl ratio as it is with 33's. I had my tire pressure at 36 and that ended up too much as my inner tires were wearing faster. Dropped it down to 31. Got some cupping on the tires as well which is causing some noise. Not sure if that was overpressure or alignment.

On top of 11,939 ft. Cerro Vista Mountain (highest public road, I figure there is a road to the top of the ski lift at Sante Fe Ski (12,000) so probably the second highest public or private road) in New Mexico. View of Wheeler Peak (13,161 ft.) group in the background. Lower quality photo after I made it smaller with Paint so hard to see but to the right of Wheeler on the right edge of the photo is the Culebra (14er) group in Colorado.

Got a lot of compliments on the armor. "Nice wrap" I kept hearing people tell me. Didn't run into too much brush but it was nice knowing my paint was protected and didn't feel the need to clip any branches.

What about aftermarket front fenders (not fender flares), specially the McQueen Prototype Design for the 5th gen 4R? They are a slightly different shape, maybe 2" wider, to fit bigger tires. Would the GOAT armor work there/is it pliable enough to get it to fit a slightly different shape?

If not, do you ever do custom work?

i will say that i bought a roll of the magnetic material, .060 i think, decent heavy stuff. made the same set up for like 90 dollars for the roll. at first i thought it was great but after using it,,, i gotta say, i would not recommend the magnetic stuff for a number of reasons. it does blow off occassionally if you have to get out on a highway for a bit or even a high speed graded road. when it blows off, it will tear usually.

also, it is a real pain to take on and off. plus it is a pain to store somewhere when not using. also, it doesn't protect everything, you will get scratches in between panels.

plenty of other disadvantages as well, just my own experience.

all in all, i am glad i experimented first with my own set, i will be going with the rhino or 3m heat plastic stuff.

Just went on a 2000 mile trip, no problems with wind blowing them off. It took me 20 minutes to take them all off an put them in the container that they came with.
