CEL codes

So I have codes P0441 and P2420. I went to dealer and they told me to replace the gas cap and the codes came back that day. In my research people stated a bad purge valve could be the culprit so I tried that with no luck. does anyone have any idea what it could be or what I should check? I don’t want to go back to the dealer and just have them replacing parts. Also, they did a system pressure check and everything was fine.

What do you mean by 'bad purge valve could be the culprit so I tried that'?
Engine Code: P2420

You swap the canister or check the lines? 7774035520

My 2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5 had code P2420 , P0441, with the "Check Engine" light and "Trac Off" lights on. The local
Toyota dealer fixed it with parts 77740-35520 Canister Assy and 25860-36020 Vacuum valve Assy. The dealer price for
these parts was high but both are available on rockauto.com for much less. The "Trac Off" light had nothing to do with
the failure. The dealer said that it activated because the 4Runner was in a compromised functional condition.
Good luck.

I have the same CELs. Will be changing the charcoal canister and the purge valve. Also replacing the hose from the valve to intake since the old one has become too stiff.
If you search around you can find OEM parts at less than what your local dealer offers. Eg. My local dealer wants $400 plus for the canister and I managed to source one for around 280.
