After months of searching for the perfect (for our needs) way to mount our phone and navigation tablet we finally decided on Expedition Essential's dash mount. Now that everything is installed, we're convinced we made the right choice. Using Ram mounts, everything is rock solid, no shaking, breaking, or rattles!
If you're interested we produced a complete install video over on our YouTube channel. Here's a link to it.-
I am new to the Gaia maps too, but I did use the discount to get a 5 year premium subscription here.. There are some YouTube videos out there on how to use the maps. Got the Ram mount for a cell phone. Solid and highly recommended. Phone is too small for maps and 4x4 roads so I will eventually get a tablet. No need to buy a separate GPS unit anymore, phone works fine.

I've enjoyed your videos too. Even though I don't plan much in the way of mods - it's nice to know how things come apart if necessary for a future mod, repair or troubleshooting. Thanks.
Love mine too, it's awesome. I'll just add that I swapped to 67 designs mounts as my Ram mounts would come loose in the heat. Think the coating on the balls that Ram uses just gets soft when hot. 67 designs stuff is rock solid.

Thanks for watching! Yes, with my aging eyes a larger screen is much better.
So you guys drove all the way from Northern Illinois to the Texas Toyota Jamboree? Wish I could have gone. Maybe next year.
We did, and it was well worth it!
Our adventures take us all over the US. Coming up we'll be in the Michigan UP, the mountains of Wyoming, Badlands of South Dakota, etc. Later in the year we'll be driving the Georgia Traverse Trail then heading to the Appalachian Toyota Roundup. Somehow we'll squeeze in trips to The Land Between The Lakes in Kentucky, Colorado, and maybe the Ozarks.

Thanks for watching! We've been playing around with, and building trips in Gaia and are so far very impressed with how easy it is to understand and use. I think we made the right choice there too. The large screen is NICE, and we'll be able to watch (listen to) movies on it going down the interstate.

Good to know. Hopefully we won't have the same issue.

You guys. You’re a bit cheesy to watch but I like it. You’ve grown on me quite a bit. Also, I commented on YouTube that I followed your cargo area plate design to a T. It’s been really great and all your stuff is spot on. Production quality is great as well. What are you gonna do when you run out of things to mod? What will we watch?
