So your dad taught you to start shit and troll? How progressive.
Look if you're trying to be helpful, recomend using premeasured reference points connected with the edge of painters tape to cut along and then a minimium of 3/4 inch weather stripping to forgive any miss cutts.
Otherwise your just needlessly derailing a promising thread.

The prototype rear went out to Colorado! Lots of other projects have gotten in between but engineering is back on the rear bumper/swingouts this week. More info soon!

Looks like the recovery tabs are pass through and welded on both sides?
Not just a surface mount and weld?

The recovery tabs on my Victory 4x4 front bumper go through the bumper and are welded on both sides. Not just welded to the inside and outside faces, but also fully welded to the piece that bolts directly to the frame. Guessing the rear bumper is going to be the same.

Good to know.
It seems a lot of them are just surface welded from what I can see.

Our D-ring tabs are designed to be used as recovery points so they are always tied straight through, back to the frame.

Very nice job on this so far! I definitely like the lighter weight look. Some of rear units out there are just freakin massive; kinda look like overkill.
This one really looks "right" especially on the side cut off area.
Looks like y'all will be getting some more $$$ when these are done. It will be a nice compliment to the aluminum Blitz front, currently on order.

TBH all the rear bumper options are more or less the same-same. Just minor variations on each other. Some require cutting plastic and some don't but they all just attach to the rear crossmember. The only one that is different is the 4x4Labs bumper since it requires cutting the rear crossmember and attaching to the frame rails. It's the most high clearance bumper you can get and improves departure angle greatly. Still nice to see another option rear bumper option with Victory4x4. Looks well built and they seem to have great customer service and representation on here.

An added goal for me for something like this would be to add and remove a jerry can set but just install them for trips(i have 2 inches to spare in my garage so i couldnt leave them on and park in the garage) Are the swing arms something that can be removed regularly or is it more meant to be left installed?

It won't be officially rated but will be designed to pull the factory tow rating.
The carriers (empty) will sit flush with the bumper, so only the accessories will be hanging further off the back. They aren't designed to be removed/installed regularly but it is technically possible. They are designed to be modular (more so) to allow you to get a bumper and be able to order and add the carrier(s) later.

It looks great, but we need more no cut bumpers on the market.
I don't like having to trim pieces and risk them flapping around later.
