Rear bumper is a great “end” to the integrated product line, if you get my drift. Looking forward to seeing it released.

If Fabricators made a no cut rear bumper like C4 Fabrication I'd buy it...but no one does so I guess my money will go towards C4 Fabrication since innovation is their thing. This Victory bumper look ok, just look like every other rear plate bumper to be honest...

If this bumper was like the c4 bumper and didn’t require retaining part of the original plastic bumper, it would be a winner for me.

@og556 & @slprciv The reason for keeping pieces of the plastic bumper cover is that full replacements add unnecessary weight and a fit is poor by comparison. Buy a C4 if thats your jam but something tells me that there are things about the other guys that deter you from pulling the trigger.

That or you just like to troll.

Oh and enjoy having that logo carved into the ass end of your truck... #tacky.

I think it’s a nice bumper I just prefer ones that don’t require cutting up the original and keeping parts there.

I don’t care about the fit or looking pretty so long as it protects the big ass on the 4Runner.

Your posts bring less than nothing to the table. Perhaps you should hang with the other C4 fan boys and bro pound. do you really think that selling a used 5th gen bumper is going to off set the cost of a steel bumper, let alone the cost of wasted fuel over time, No!

you may care about fit when you frame flexes and a full bumper cover replacement rides over your metal rear quarter panel and they rust sets in, in the residual gashes... have fun with that. I't rather have cuts over plastic... just say'n

Well TBH every bumper on the market is more or less the same, except the 4x4 Labs one. Whether it's no cut or partial cut they all bolt up to the rear cross-member. Often adding only an inch or two in additional ground clearance. You then have your choice of single swing, dual swing, and bolt on accessories. The Victory 4x4 one looks very similar in design to the Brute Force Fab bumper IMO. Not a bad thing as I like the Brute Force one quite a bit.

What makes the the 4x4 Labs bumper unique is that it requires you to cut the rear cross-member and it attaches directly to the frame rails. Not a common practice in the 5th gen world but this has been done since forever on the Land Cruiser platform. The arm spindles also attach to each other instead of the bumper. Obviously cutting the rear cross-member is not for everyone but the 4x4 Labs bumper offers the highest clearance of any bumper and the particular design has been time tested on the Land Cruiser platform. It is basically the de-facto 80-series rear bumper. I visited their shop in Grass Valley and also saw a fully built 80-series with their rear bumper in Idaho. Took one look and was like yep, I'm going with 4x4 Labs.

As far as no-cut 5th gen bumpers, I think C4, SSO, and 4x4 Labs are the only ones that go up the full way. The SSO rear bumper v2 also has a unique tailgate as well. I think the C4 is the most feature rich and one of the best looking bumpers on the market but I'm not a fan of the peg board style swing out panel and it's also a bumper of a thousand brackets. I looked some of the install videos and spoke with the guys at Tru-Automotive in Denver and they said it's legitimately a 10 hour install with all the pieces and brackets it comes in and they've done many of them.

Here's a good article on rear bumper options (not all inclusive). Seems there are options for everyone, just have to decide what you value most.

Your post brings even further less! But that is expected from a fanboy. Also I didn't even say anything about a used 5th gen bumper nor saving money for fuel on a steel bumper, if I did I wouldn't be modding my truck. You got your arguments twisted with someone else.

See this is a perfect example of a response to my post. No need to jump down someone else throat i.g; @CF Machete Because you don't agree with their opinions and resort to name calling people. This is why this forum is going to shit because users like @CF Machete come in all high and mighty on their horse "thinking" a low post count and newbie is fair game. For the record I've been wrenching for over 30 yrs.

That is a valid point I didn’t consider. I’ve seen this happen before on a jk. I’d rather lose plastic than damage the steel.

didn't twist anything, it was a logical conclusion to wanting a no cut option. what else would you do with a unused bumper? Wall art? i think not.

if you want to troll, you'll get flamed on here. If you want to discuss different bumper options, take it to the right thread.

I'm putting in my opinions just like any other guy in here. You're the one coming in calling everyone a troll because their comments don't match with what you like. Don't like it? Move on!
