Rubbing on top of BMC

I'm currently on 17x9 -38mm offset with 295's. I have a BMC done and have hammered in all the pinch welds. I thought I was good and now I'm rubbing pretty bad on top of the BMC area. Anyone that's running bigger tires have solutions to resolve this problem?

Do you have aftermarket upper control arms to move the caster forward? Once you have done that, if you havent done so, move the fender liner (fender liner mod) and trim the bumper.

295s and 17x9 -38 is pretty aggressive and you'll probably need to do more trimming. Even then you'll probably still rub (the front) unless you trim for high clearance.

Holy cow I thought I had it bad. Do you find that the rubbing is happening while turning, or during compression? The rub marks look like it may be during compression (vertical scuffing), but I can't tell 100%. Are they 295/70, and have you already replaced the UCAs?

Yes I have uca's and my castor is at around 3.5. It rubs when I'm fully locked.

Hammer, light coating of paint, go wheel.
If it still rubs, repeat.

Get another alignment and specify higher Caster using the lower control arm eccentrics. You can go a lot higher than 3.5....even 5+ is fine if you’re lifted. The aftermarket uca’s that add caster actually move the wheel back in the wheel well a tad. So, you want to add caster using the lower control arm adjustment. This will push the wheel toward the front. It’s worth a try before changing wheels.

Raising the caster worked great on my daughters Tacoma and getting ready to get my t4r re-aligned and add caster. I’m dealing with the same thing to a lesser extent with my spc uca’s. My 265’s/8.5” -12 offset wheels lightly rub the mud flap backing up during compressing. Need to get more caster via the lower control arm adjustment.

I'd start with more caster.

I got 3.8 and was still rubbing with only 285s.

I'd agree with more caster also. I run about 4.9 to clear my 285/75's at full stuff
