Rear spring upgrade after RTT, skids, bumpers, etc

Somewhere in my upgrade path on my 2018 ORP with KDSS and FJC TRD TT bilstein suspension , I have exceeded limitations of my rear suspension.

I have RSG sliders, Warn hybrid bumper, x20 winch, RCI full skids including fuel tank, Rhino-Rack pioneer platform and backbone, orange Boxx panels, X6 lightbar, ARB tent, ARB awnings big, CFX-40 fridge, etc.

The Bilstein FJC TRD TT suspension is great in front, but rear is undersprung. I have had a a Proline Elite rear bumper with dual swing outs on order since Jan. When it arrives I’ll need to address rear wand quickly. Any suggestions on rear coils?

This is current suspension that I currently run. I don’t want more than 2” of lift over stock after accounting for additional weight.

The Bilstein FJC TRD TT suspension uses stock springs so it was always going to be overloaded with any extra weight anyways. I'd look into the Dobinson's options. Calculate how much weight you're running and pick the option appropriate for you. I'd get in contact with Mike over at Dobinsons, he could probably give you a better idea of what you need.

I added up weight on mods. I am at 1000 lbs with tent, bumpers winch skids sliders rack etc. I think front FJC TRD TT springs are 650#. Need something similar and some lift for rear. Thinking a spring that can Handel the extra weight with 1-2” lift over stock.

To clarify, I meant that the FJC TRD TT kit uses stock rear springs with stock rates. So it's no wonder you overloaded the rears quickly.

Check out the Dobinsons page and email Mike. He can help you out. You probably need progressive coils with that much weight.
