So I went and checked around that property South of the airport: all grown over, gated, or giant boulders placed in the way. Looks like the city and PNG began playing whack-a-mole with access. Something about safety, I'm sure. And I brought home about four ticks after stomping around in the weeds looking for the trail in the one section that was "only" blocked by brush and a lot of bamboo.
