Can you all believe that the Cove has let us come back for the 8th year in a row?!
Statistically this has ALWAYS BEEN POSTED IN THE 5TH GEN SECTION (with a link in the off-roading section), since it was started by the 5th Gens. I would absolutely love if this post would remain here in the 5th gen section as this trip is geared toward getting new folks out to see what their truck can do.
What the heck am I talking about? Well....
This is the 8th year we have had an adventure to the Cove in Gore Virginia.
For those that have never been before, this trip is a great opportunity to meet some fellow Toyota enthusiasts, and the ability to take your 4Runner off the beaten path for a weekend of fun!
The Cove offers everything from gravel access roads to mud pits to hard core rock crawling!
You will enjoy rustic camping (no water or electricity at the campsites, only a spot-a-pot, picnic table and fire ring), fishing, shooting, exploring and awesome conversations at the campfire at night.
We are extremely fortunate that the great staff at The Cove opens their trail network up to us for this event! They have very specific rules that only allow trail riding for large events (we are not a large event for them), and we have earned their trust and approval.

Weather Forecast
* Arrive Friday November 1, and leave early Monday morning November 4 or anytime during that time-frame. (Most folks come in on Friday or Saturday and leave Sunday Morning.)
* $17 each person per night.
* $25 per vehicle "Trail Use" fee.
* $10 per day rifle range fee (only if/when you plan to shoot)
*Saturday night cookout/Pot Luck dinner (I've spoken with Scott from GT Peace and they are looking forward to this again, details to follow.)
*We ususally have a few really good giveaways, and I suspect that will be the case again this year. Last year I believe GT Peace gave away an alignment and some other goodies.
LINE UP YOUR VEHICLES SATURDAY AT 6PM FOR THE GROUP PHOTO IN THE BIG FIELD NEXT TO CAMP!
Weather is typically cool during the day with temps reaching into the 40's at night. Plan accordingly, but watch the forecast.
Notes: Friendly dogs are allowed.
NO NIGHT RUNS. Pick up your trash. Leave your campsite as you found it.
