Heavier springs for Pro factory suspension

I plan to upgrade the suspension in its entirety next spring, but for now I need more load capacity on the factory TRD Pro Bilsteins. The rear of the 4Runner sags when fully loaded with gear and when I carry my dirt bike on the hitch carrier.

Any recommendations on which coils will work with the Pro Bilstein suspension and provide more load carrying capacity?

Yea, it's sad how easily it is impacted by weight/payload. I don't want airbags!

I was wondering if theres any uprated spring weights out there that dont lift over factory height? The sag in the rear..lol.. its no joke.

Maybe air bags are better, not sure. I know some run them .

I'm using the Bilstein 6112 600# springs on mine. I've very happy with the results for now. There was a set for sale on here the other day.

Check out my thread here for more info.

Another Pro Lifted with 6112s (pics and measurements) UPDATE: Added 285s

@Bayou_Pro , did you ever take measurements, center of the wheel hub to bottom of your fender up front? Since the Pro is already 1/2" lifted, I'm guessing that its a 2 1/2 lift compared to all of the other trims.

All of my measurements are in the last pic of my post I linked above. It was 2.5" based on my Pro. They did settle almost 1/2" though.

It sounds like he’s specifically asking about the rear springs. Dobinsons has a good thread with the spring options they offer. Why no love for the airbags if you want to stay at stock height? Airbags are inexpensive , prevents sag under load, and easier install than rear coils.
