Does any of that add to the discussion?

Ha! that's impressive! If I was wheeling all the time, maybe. My off road is to and from fishing spots and some light wheeling for fun here and there. I usually try to avoid branches and beating the shit out of it, but do have some battle scars. the scratches look like I got keyed, not like I was riding a trail. I give zero f's what others think it looks like, but if it bothers me, that is not much different than a clunk or noise.

You don't need anything fancy. A mild polish or decent wax will be fine.
I get those kind of scratches all the time.

You can use the 3M Perfect It polish system, or go with a hybrid polish like Wizards Mystic. The Mystic will cut pretty well with a heavy pad, but works like a final polish when using a foam finishing pad.

I've got a Wizards Big Throw 21 DA. It works like a champ without the Rupes price. The Griots is nice, but button/switch problems usually follow if you use it enough.

If the scratches are not through to the clear, you can always wet sand them with 2500 (if you want to be safe) or even lower... say 2000 or 1500, then buff it with DA. If you go through the clear you're hosed though.

$.02
