Another option is the Taco Tunes FG enclosure, it goes on the other side, but this would work and comes with speaker

Hi folks,

I was looking at the TacoTunes subwoofer box for a 2016 4Runner as well and see the top mounting depth of about 6.25". If I wanted to add a sub that needs more depth (eg, JL Audio W7AE3 with 9.5" in), then could we add some more O-rings at the opening? Any downside to that?

FYI, also asked the question on TacoTunes YouTube video just in case they reply on there as well.

Thanks,

Rob

Do you remember some of the specs? (eg, depth, width at the bottom, volume in cubft)?

Which shop you went to? I'm in Orange County.

This was a DIY project. Can't remember the exact measurements but i did achieve the volume per JL Audio requirements for the specefic sub. Sorry not much of a help there.
