I would absolutely follow the advice of people here with retaining an attorney.

Be sure to document / timeline all of the day to day things you are experiencing. As time progresses you may lose some of the finer details of what you are experiencing if you don’t take the time to document. It makes life much easier if you are ever asked to recall events or produce something like this.

Good luck to you… both medically and legally.

Both of the two posts above are spot on.

The only thing that I'd request is that the OP comes back at some point with some closure - no details, just a "I'm feeling better now and I resolved the issue with the insurance company. Here's my new ride"
