I'm using Sprint Booster + Magnuson combo. Works amazing.

On a side note, anyone have a boost gauge? If so, which one?

My supercharger is on the way. The 4Runner is only a week old and will have about 300 miles at the time of install. Looking forward to getting some whining back in my life!

Once it's wound up, it kinda sounds like an electric motor. No more pukin' its guts out sound. You gonna like it!

It does!!! I'm actually really glad I don't have an exhaust system to mask/hide the sound of the supercharger.

No stranger to Magnuson! My last build was supercharged and loved every minute of it.

Small dealer, but they did a good job for me.
They also installed Metal Tech sliders and an exhaust.

You guys who are adding more mods after the supercharger; intake, exhaust, etc. are you also getting a new tune? Or are you sticking with the Magnuson tune? If you are getting a custom tune, where are you getting it from? Who can tune this package? I currently have the blower, but the only additional "power" mod I have is the URD (Magniflow) exhaust. I want to add an intake, headers, bigger injectors, fuel pump, and smaller pulley but I don't know where I can get all that tuned.

x2 here.

I keep going back and forth between eyeing newer vehicles and just taking the plunge and making my truck feel new again with a few upgrades. Aside from the power and MPG (I'd be okay with one being bad but not both), it's real hard to complain. I do a LOT of highway driving and I think an SC would make it way better. I'll be up in the Northwest all next month and y'all are really making me want to take a trip to Bend. Anyone want to refer me to the dealer there/give a ballpark of installation cost?

Ya the highway through the mtns is my big concern. I'm actually in Denver. RSG will be installing mine first week of october. Smooth ride quoted me $480 less but im not sure theyve done them before. Its expensive peace of mind and I maybe shoulda went with them to sabve but at least rsg is one of magnuson's "certified installers"

Kendall Toyota of Bend had installed mine from new when I found it on the showroom floor. They did a great job. At least two other members have had theirs installed by Dealers in NV and PA and had leaks at the intercooler reservoir. Not a real big deal, but..... I've been keepin' an eye on mine ... no runs, no drips, no errors ... so far (5K+ miles). They are not on the "certified installers" list that I know of.

A side note; the Magnuson warranty goes by the mileage on the truck, not when you have it installed.

Another side note; make sure you get the tuner with your install. It is vehicle specific. I had a bit of trouble convincing them that I paid for it and it is mine. Way too much smoke up my ass. Took a call with the service manager to Tim at Magnuson to convince him. UUUH! Don't mention my name if yas go to them. I'm pretty sure I have a "red check" next to my name. LOL!

Go with a "certified installer". At your altitude Magnuson probably has a specific tune. Yas can always go with a smaller pulley to increase boost like Top Fuel dragsters do???!!! Just sayin'. HEH!

Going on 36k miles on my SC. No issues. Installed myself in March of 2018, only needed a reflash since I was initially getting some knocking at WOT. Magnuson was great about working with me on that. Replied to calls, emails, and helped me reflash over the phone. My rig is a heavy pig and still gets up and goes when I need it. I run pedal commander for throttle response but turn it way down or off when wheelin', depending on the terrain.
