Hey guys, I shot Eitek1 the CAD file. eMachineshop does everything including the bends, machine work, and powder coating. Obviously the higher the quantity you produce the lower the cost. I imagine the material to make them costs next to nothing so I dont doubt Eitek1 could make them cheaper if he has access to a machine shop. They are made from 6061 Aluminum and are 4.5mm thick. The bracket sits at a 90 degree angle overall, with the upper bend at 40 degrees and the lower bend at 50 degrees.

Here are a couple of 3D images from the eMachineshop.com software. You can download the software for free from their website. For an amateur tinkerer like myself the website is really cool for coming up with ideas and being able to visualize them in 3D.

Here’s a few photos of how it sits when it is stored. Everything is ready to go so when I need to use it again all I do is pick it up and lift it onto the rack.

Some of you will notice that I had mine re-powder coated because I hated the blue road shower lettering.

I'm happy to pay up front for 2 sets. Let me know!

I've visited the front runner warehouse in CA and it basically looks like they received several shipments from China and re-ship them back to domestic customers. I'm not a chinese product basher by any means but you can definitely tell the difference from a higher quality product. I'm going to qualify this by saying that Prinsu isnt the be all end all either... I'd love to just design and build my own rack. I guarantee it would be better than both... although would probably cost me just as much if not more to fabricate.

In the end its all the same crap. Quality crap... but still crap.
Understood. Front Runner products are engineered and manufactured in Johannesburg, South Africa. Like you said, you might be able to build your own rack better, but considering price, fitment, and modularity, its really hard to beat. Appreciate the input!

Hey any chance this is moving forward? I’d still love to have some of the brackets!

The file type he sent I couldn’t use as it was proprietary and my software won’t recognize it. I asked for a different type of file and am waiting to hear something. If I can get that I will price it out and see how it turns out.

What file type did you get? Maybe I can convert it for you.

I priced them out - comes out to about $70 per set if we get 10 orders.

I sent @Eitek1 the dimensions and he was going to CAD up some to see if he could do it cheaper, but never heard back.

So that's where we are. Not currently planning on ordering 10 - maybe this fall when I have more time on my hands.

It sounds like it’s just three of us looking for this part. Thanks for trying anyway Rageandlove!

Sorry I started working on it and had some questions and then a bunch of stuff came up. How wide are the bars on your rack? The dimensions that you gave put the holes in odd places. If you let me know I can have a price in the next couple of days. Sorry about the delay.
