Tpms

I deflated my tires recently to 15psi while going off-road, my TPMS sensor never went off. I was expecting to see a warning light on the dash at least but nothing. What gives? Does it only go off when one of the tires are off?

It takes a bit of driving for the pressure to register, so if you just deflated the tire without driving then it wouldn't indicate low pressure.

If you did drive it without an alert then there is a problem with the system. How old is the car and are you the original owner?

If you actually drove it for some distance with the tires at 15psi and no alert, then you need to get the system repaired.

I think the car is placarded for 33psi, so the system should alert at least at 25psi - but most likely below 28 or so.
