Help! Redarc trailer brake controller not working

I need help. I recently installed the Redarc Tow Pro Elite trailer brake controller using the Tekonsha 3041P wiring adapter following the instructions on Etrailer.com. I'm certain everything is wired and installed correctly, and I'm certain the trailer is not the problem, as the brakes/lights work fine with every other tow vehicle that pulls it.

The trailer is brand new and is wired with electric trailer brakes using a 5-pin flat plug, so I'm using a 5-pin-flat to 7-pin-round plug adapter when connecting to the 4runner.

The only thing that works on the trailer when connected to the 4runner are the brake lights and turn signals. I get no running lights, no trailer brakes, and the Redarc controller in the vehicle stays in sleep mode as if it's not even recognizing the trailer is connected.

I've got a feeling that the Redarc uses some kind of low voltage feedback from the trailer to bring it out of sleep mode, but I have no idea how to address the issue. I also find it very odd that the 2018 F-150 and the 2014 Honda Pilot that tow the trailer are not experiencing the same problem. Any ideas?

If thé brake controller functions properly on other vehicles then you might want to look at the travel trailer side of the wiring.

Check your Towing/tail 30A fuse in the engine room fuse box.

Thanks. The fuse was blown and the lights are now working properly. The trailer brakes still are not working, but I can deal with that. I think the 5-pin harness on the trailer is somehow not activating my brake controller.
