AC question

I have 2014 SR5 premium and the air coming out of the back part of the center console for the back seat passengers is really low, for it to be substantial i have the crank the AC all the way up. Do you know if this is just the way it is or is there a fan in there that is not working well? Thanks guys!

The rear center console fan only works when the fan mode is in the first three positions - Top front, top front and less bottom front, 50/50 top front and bottom front modes. The center fan speeds also coincides with the front speeds. If you have your fan mode in windshield blowing mode the rear center console fan does not come on.

The A/C system is one of the very few things I dislike with my T4. The system is undersized with too low a capacity. It works fair if you run the fan on high and can put up with the noise.

I added ceramic tint material to the windshield, moon roof and side windows to reduce the heat load coming in. That helps a lot.

I feel my ac works fine. I live in the Arizona desert where it can get to 120 degrees. I never felt like the ac struggles to keep me cool. My Limited has the dual auto temp and ventilated seats so maybe that helps. It is also not very humid here.

Its just the way it is. I close my front center vents when i have passengers back there. That usually helps.
