Front Lower Shock Bolt

Should the lower shock bolt on the front suspension be tightened down while the vehicle is up in the air or should it be snugged up in the air and tightened when the wheels are on the ground? I think I read that it needs to be tightened while it was on the ground, but I can't find it anymore.

Snug in the air, torque on the ground

It’s a little less critical with spherical bearings and metal misalignment spacers.

But with rubber bushings, if they are torqued to spec in the air and then the vehicle is lowered to allow the full weight on the suspension components, the rubber bushings will twist and distort.
