Structural Uni-ball Help
Hey folks, I currently had an issue come up and looking for some advice on how serious it is. I was doing maintenance changing fluids, ICON shock rebuild tightened and torque bolts up. While I was changing my Camburg UCA bushings I noticed on the driver side the lower portion of the uni-ball that slides into the knuckle had about 5 small fracture lines in the sleeve that drops into the knuckle. I'm not sure what caused it, I usually torque bolts to spec but maybe not. My concern is the rig is already on a boat on its way to Cali, and the plan was to drive cross country to D.C hitting some sites and trails along the way, Blue Ridge Parkway being the big one. I plan on stopping in Texas and that's when I'll have a garage and tools to be able to swap uni-balls.
until then what's the general consensus of driving on it?
