I totaled my 2011 MGM SR5

Just mainly a lurker here for a couple years now, but I have to thank you all for the entertainment, help and knowledge base you all have contributed to me and the community.

This 4runner was a tank. Last week I was driving home going about 40 on a through street with my 3 year old son in the back seat. A 16 year old girl at a stop sign didn't see me behind the slowing/turning car in the lane next to me pulled out... all I was was the nose of a black car and slammed on my brakes but impact was unavoidable. My insurance adjuster got back to me with a $19k repair bill, so needless to say it's a total loss.

The girl went straight to the hospital in an ambulance, my son was 100% fine aside from a little shock, and I just had minor scrapes/bruising. I had a little airbag burns on my left fore arm and calves, I broke the windshield when my left hand slammed into it and broke the steering column as well but I had no broken bones or any major injuries.

Pictures show the story so I will let them do the talking. Just wanted to say this forum is a great community unlike the immature facebook pages who are full of snarky shallow minded children.

I think I'm going for a 05-07 Sequoia next but I hope I will be back into a 4runner some day (When a 5th gen TRD Pro is less than $30k)

I'd delete this thread in case she wants to sue you and use anything said on here in the trial/insurance settlement.

We both gave our recorded statements and they determined she's 100% at fault. What did I say that would imply I'm at fault for anything?

You apparently haven't been to the OT subform, have you?
