I searched for DRZ after seeing one of their ads appear here. I’ve never heard of them before. They do have a giveaway contest for a set of 5th Gen products. I entered it and could have a lot to say if I win. One of my best friends owns a super high-end auto electronics shop and is an overall electronics genius (former USAF secret squirrel technology guy). He could perform every test imaginable on the products and any accessories, and I could share the results here. Not to mention I hope the items would be decent enough for me to want to keep them!

Here is the website(5th Gen 4Runner (2010-2019)) waiting to hear what you think. Finally someone put LEDs in all four sides of the board/device instead of the usual two.

I know the lows are more expensive than the fogs, but if their wattage ratings are good, you could easily put the lows in the fogs, since the usual H16 bulb is a 19W one, and their low beams are rated at 20W.

The 6500K rating may make them a bit blue instead of the pure white they claim, I run some katanas and even though they are also rated at 6500K, bulbfacts tested them at 6000K, I wish they were closer to 5200K. Finally, It also seems the highs will have the same flickering issue as all other LEDs in the DRL mode, good luck tho!

If you are going to put these in a stock housing, your gonna be way better off going with HID's. They put out way more usable light with the stock housing.

This is very likely the correct configuration for making the most of our OEM projector with a drop-in LED replacement. I've been hoping a company would attempt it for years now (come on @XenonDepot you can do it!!)... unfortunately, based on the claims they're making on the website, these particular units have all the hallmarks of being cheaply / poorly manufactured:

- Their claim of a 10,000 lumen output is ridiculous. Good HIDs are usually in the 3200-3500 lumen output range and are completely blinding head-on. I would be shocked if these units rate over 2000 lumens stable after warmup in the projector.

- Either the output is 6500k (definitely cool to blue-tinged) or bright white, but not both. I do wish companies would make a quality AND properly configured bulb that was in the 4200-5000k range for appropriate night / inclement visibility, which should be on the warmer side of the Kelvin range, not cooler.

- It's a smaller concern, but the inclusion of a fan for cooling (rather than a heat sink) not only produces a small but identifiable source of noise but also yields another way for these to fail. The following is strictly my opinion, but any time I see a fan on LEDs, I steer clear. The higher quality LED products that I've seen and tested have non-motorized heat sinks, usually built as the major portion of the shroud of the light itself.

Despite all this I'm interested to hear impressions and if they have any longevity- I'll be surprised if they do, and happily eat my words. If they're a vendor here perhaps they can comment directly and provide photo evidence like light metering and comparison shots. Those who've sprung for a set please keep us updated.

Would you post some pictures of the product, and maybe some comparison ones once you have all the bulbs?

I emailed the people from bulbfacts about these type of LEDs and apparently they had tested some similar designs in the past, only to get poor performance out of them; hopefully these are better.

Very interesting setup and looks great installed!

I am looking to replace the low's and fogs of our 2014 Limited and have seen nothing from LED's other than these that appear to make any sense. Any shots from night time or opinions about light output at night?

any tips for the install? I nearly pulled the bundle trigger but read the comment above about the fan / heat-sink that made me a little nervous.

any info from these guys about warranty? I dont see much on their website.

Can you also post the beam pattern comparison between this LED bulbs and the stock bulbs? The beam pattern on the ground is preferred compared to the wall. I asked @DRZ-Off-Road for the same, no response.
