Has anyone tried the Panavise 4Runner Mount on the passenger side of the vent?
https://www.panavise.com/pdf_indash/75137-310.pdf
I ordered one and was planning on getting a RAM mount to attach to it because i dont wanna drill anything in my dash. But i didnt realize until buying it that it was only compatible on the passenger vent side of the center hub.
I asked and they were like nah we havent gotten much request for those yet. we might make them.
Does anyone have experience with them and specifically if this mount works well?

I bought a mount from panavise, as well as another mount from ram.
I didnt want to drill any hole in my head unit so i ended up using 3m tape. And the panavise mount was for the passenger side, but i ended up doing it for the driver side cause i asked them and they havent had enough people to request it to make a mount for it. but it ended up working out good.
So panavise suggest you mount the thing via screws but i am hesitant to screw anything in that is not oem. so i 3med taped it.

Ordered a RAM® X-Grip® Large Phone Mount with RAM® Stubby™ Cup Holder Base, a solid black cup holder from Etsy, drilled a hole into the bottom of the cup holder, mounted the base to the cup holder.
Removed the OEM Toyota rubber cup holder, inserted the new mount.
It’s rock solid and removable at will!

I went with the bolt on Ram Ball, Ram Mount and short connector. I love this and have gotten my cup holders back.

Has anyone tried the Ram Tough Wedge in their vehicle?
Just looking for something to keep the phone out of the way when driving. I use Car Play when out but I just need something that keeps the phone out of the way. Cup holders are usually occupied.

Didn't try the Ram wedge but really like my ProClip console mount. Attached Ram double ball swivel to it with Ram iPad Mini holder. Looks huge but can do same with phone. Passenger has plenty of room. This thing is solid. Have wheeled hard with no problems. Double sided tape ProClip provides is good. Didn't need to use any VHB tape as I had planned.

I use to use it, and loved everything about it. can mount your phone, or a table and still easy to remove and transfer to another vehicle.
Only reason, i stopped using it is that i installed a dedicated navigation/phone dash system.
I still have mine wedged in between my seat...love to have the option of mounting something there if i needed to.

I use the wedge too. It’s a solid choice if you want portability and want to use cup holders for cups.

My shirt pocket. Sometimes in the slot ahead of the rear cup holder.
Bluetooth plays my music from my phone and handles my phone calls. My 4Runner has the Entune system with navigation, my phone doesn’t have a data plan, so don’t need to see the phone.

I designed my own.
It is based off a an 2020 aluminum extrusion and modified bracketron mounts. The original bracketron came with a regular squeeze on both side type, but i swapped the heads for magnetic type.
Why I chose to go with my own rail system? - No drilling/permanent modification required
- Placement adjustable
- Anything can easily mounted
- Using natural dashboard edges and cavities to get rigidity and strength.
- Held up to the Mojave 110 degree heat (Mojave trail run for 140 miles)
- Components from aluminum, steel and UV and heat resistant plastic
- Best part: drop of alcohol and can easily be removed with no traces or markings left.
I mount my phone and my handheld Yaesu on it, but you can pretty much attach anything you want.
