2 in 1 Led Fog Lights/DRL on 2019

So did a little searching and only found one thread thread mentions the oem 2 in 1 Fog light/DRL. They mention an aftermarket 2 in 1 fog/DRL and there was a nice instructional installation video by AUER the manufacturer.

Wanted to get this option on my 2019 ORP but was inpatient and just settled for a KDSS and cargo deck model.

My question is does the actual oem 2 in 1 fog/DRL use the DRL setting on the signal stalk on the steering wheel or does the fog/DRL use another button like is provided with the AUER aftermarket product.

Would like to get rid of the halogen/DRL highbeams and add the AUER 2 in 1 fog/DRL's.

Think there was another thread that has the above links but cant find it.

Thanks for any info on how the oem 2 in ! fog/DRL works.

Thank you for the reply, will get the Auer kit and add it myself then. Do you still also have the DRL halogen high beams then? Guessing that you do.

Yes, the DRL/high beams work the same with or without the 2-in-1 fogs.

The stock 2-in-1 has a seperate button. The column switch just turns on the DRLs in the headlight.

My only complaint is the 2-in-1 dims significantly between fog and DRL setting. Goes to DRL when you select the side marker light setting and headlights on (2nd and 3rd selection).

Does anyone know a way to rewire to have fogs turn on regardless of headlight setting? I want to avoid replacing with aftermarket fog lights.
