What kind of light bars are y'all running with your Gobi stealth racks?

After 15 weeks of waiting, my Gobi rack is finally scheduled to arrive this week. I wanted to see what kind of light bars you all are running. Have a budget of about $250-$500 for the front light bar and maybe $150 for the back.

I'm about to sell all my rigids (real cheap, could fit into your budget) since I just got rid of my gobi, if you're interested going the separate bar route instead of one full length bar.

I have 2 rigid sr series floods, 2 rigid sr series driving. Also have 2 more rigid sr series floods for the rear.

I love my Baja lights, for a few reasons:
1) they look unique, not like every other light bar.
2) they are very powerful for their wattage, and put out a ton of light.
3) You can change their lenses yourself, turning a flood into a spot (and vice versa) and turning color from white to amber, etc., so the lights can change with your preferences, or when you sell them.
4) They come in a variety of sizes that will fit your configuration.

They cost a bit more, but I feel are worth it.

If you are talking about forward lighting I would look into mounting your lights in your front grill or bumper. The reflection coming off the hood is really really bad and almost defeats the purpose of having a light up there. For side and rear lighting I am using Baja Designs S2s (Pro/Sport) in the Work/Flood light pattern.

I would wait for your rack to arrive and decide. installing lights is kind of a PITA on the gobi racks. they don't make it easy to run wires inside the tubing. the hole placement isn't that strategic either so you have to pick some lights based on their mounting. the cost added up quickly too; lights, wires, relays, fuses and switches.

I was all gung ho and ready to add lights all around. Once the rack arrived and I put it to use I weighed all of the pros and cons and opted not to add lights.

So true. It's even worse with the slightest amount of dirt on your windshield.

I would suggest mounting a led bar on your front bumper, then installing some ditch lights to get more light spread.

I don't have any experience with them, but Black Oak LED's seem to have great reviews and the prices are right.

I'm going with these when I do all the lighting for my truck!

Rigid SR
2 hyper spot on the front, 1 flood on the rear. Only 2 on the front due to the no rise rack option. 1 in the rear to compliment the bumper lights. Also afraid I would break a light if it was inline with the ladder since I’m on the roof a lot.
