I'm looking to swap my 2020 TRDP exhaust with 9k miles on it for a non-TRDP stock exhaust of similar age/use. I'm in the Kansas City/Topeka area.

I'm in Oregon and willing to help swap if someone wants to swap their TRD exhaust for my stock exhaust.

Quick question about the side exit. Does it get rid of the catalytic convertor smell when the rear window is down? If so, I would love to trade my ORP exhaust for the Pro version.

I don't smell anything inside the vehicle so I'm sure the Pro exhaust is better.

If you can't find a swap I might be willing to buy your exhaust. How come you want to get a different exhaust?

To all those asking why I want to trade, yes it's the drone of it that I'm tired of. I can tolerate it fine when I'm by myself, it doesn't sound too bad. But when the 4R is loaded up with people, dogs, and gear every weekend to head to the lake the drone is quite annoying on the highway drive out there.

I’m in Southern California if anyone with a TRD PRO exhaust wants to give me theirs.

Has anyone slapped a cheap bullet muffler in to see if it helps with the supposed drone?
That’s my plan when I install mine next weekend.

The muffler is the primary differentiation between the regular exhaust and TRD. Why not just go custom and save a bunch of money? The TRD is overpriced for what it is. I have it and it's fine, but not exceptional. I'm thinking about adding a Helmholtz resonator to mine. Typically drone isn't caused by the muffler itself, but the sound wave function leading to the muffler - which is why it's heard closer to your seat than the rear of the vehicle. The Helmholtz resonator when placed just passed the Y-pipe is a 1/4 or 1/2 wavelength oscillator, effectively offsetting and canceling the primary sound wave.
