Question Victory 4x4 Radio Silence?

Hi all!

Ordered a rear molle panel from Victory on July 10th. I emailed them a few weeks later and asked about the status. They said for stuff that's custom made it could take 15-20 business days to fulfill. So I was alright with that.

It's now been a month and I emailed them Wednesday asking about the status of the order with no response. Wondering if anybody else has been in touch with them recently or has had any orders get shipped.

I'm not super worked up about it since they have a pretty good rep, but the radio silence is a little off-putting and I'd rather like my shiny new molle panel.

Maybe pick up the phone and call them?

Or PM them on these forums?

Had a bit of a lack of communication issue with Victory 4x4 about my bumper that’s being delivered on Monday. Definitely PM them on this site. Cam is very good about following through and replying quickly. He was out of the office for about a week, but returned as of Monday 8/5.

Thanks for the replies.

I guess I hadn’t even realized they had a published phone number. It’s not very common for a lot of online places these days. I might give them a call on Monday then if I don’t hear anything else.

I know they’re a very good company so I’m not trying to imply anything. I was just curious if they were having a super busy month or something. Probably didn’t need a whole thread about it but it’s been a long week.

I retired in 2012, and I'm certainly no tech guru, but doesn't every email program have an out of office autoresponder feature you can set before you go? They used to. AOL used to call it Mail Away iirc.

This 2016 TEP w/KDSS is a big step up from the 1986 Subaru GL wagon I used on the Outer Banks beaches for 14 years. That thing would go anywhere in the sand on 185/70-13 tires. Dual range 5 speed, factory skid plate, 3 position manually adjustable rear shocks and armored exhaust. All factory, including the white spoke wheels. The front sub frame finally rusted apart.

I think they still had employees at their facility. The person out of town was the one that handles their social media presence. Honestly, my only issues with Victory 4x4 is communication confusion and a tendency to underestimate lead times.

Calling them on the phone or emailing them resolved zero issues when I was waiting on my roof rack and now my bumper. Contacting them during business hours on Facebook and T4R PM resulted in almost immediate responses from Cam. He followed through for me and kept me updated. They make a nice product, but really need to work on customer service (with the exception of Cam).

Lots of companies make great products. Where many of them fail is less than stellar customer service.

Under promise and over deliver!!!

Well, called their number this afternoon and went to leave a message for current order issues - turns out their mailbox is full so I couldn't even leave a voicemail!

This doesn't seem to be boding well...

Did you send them a PM on this site? Seriously, that’s the only thing that worked for me. Cam was super responsive.

They answered my call this morning around 9am for some help with an existing order. They were more than helpful when it came to taking care of my issue (changing an order). That said, their email response time has been slow for me. No problems with their phone service though.

It amazes me how many of these threads pop up when they could be avoided by someone just picking up the phone...
