The everyday driver lift

I have a stock 2016 trail premium w/ KDSS and I’ve been looking at getting a lift. Albeit I am looking for a specific lift.

I need 2 inches in the front and 1 inch in the rear. So how do I get this exactly?

I don’t want spacers, I know that is the easy way to do it.

Anyone do this lift exactly, what did you use? Part numbers?

2,500 hundred is the budget for parts

Lift kit that uses coils that give you a 2 front and 1 rear lift. Dobinsons and bilstein 5100s is a good place to start.

I have 5100’s on my 3rd gen and the ride is super hoppy. Not looking to go that route. Anything a bit higher quality or more dampening?

Hmm seeing that your in socal...you could ask Kai for a ride in his dobinsons equipped car to see if you like the ride haha

When I was looking around for suspension bits, I test drove a friends rig with the 6112/5160s and found them a bit to harsh/stiff. I find the Dobinsons kit I went with to be more comfortable.

He recently was on vacation, I'd say try again.

I am in Mission Viejo if you want to check out my ride with King. Got 2.5” in front and 1.2” (I think) in the rear with T13 springs. It is a little harsh with LT E tires.

5100's at 1.75 and a daystar rubber in the rear........it will ride mellow and that's as cheap and simple as it can be.
