They don’t make a pearl white hood scoop. You have to get one painted. That’s why it was a rare find to get one used. It’s hard to justify paying for it unless it’s like an insurance claim or something. It’s just a cosmetic look. Which I do love but not for $1500. I’ll post more pics later. Gonna be washing the truck today.

Get the limited and enjoy the cooled seats... I wish I would have.

I think they do. Big wheels and low profile tires just don't do it for me. But they sell enough of them to the white collar breed around here so they are apparently attractive.
If it were me - I would scrap the limited model and just make a highlander equivalent.

Give it some 17s and AT tires, and it will be well more capable as a machine than you as a driver (I know that because of the question you asked)
Then get yourself some good experience in your rig and you can tweak it to do even more than you expected

Just installed the raptor lights today. I love them! Still a couple things on the do list. New wheels, the new morimoto led headlights, thinking a lower profile roof rack.

No it is on par with a camry on bald tires if you don't get a TRD.

You gathered this from the fact it comes with 20” wheels? You know it’s OK to own more than 1 set of rims and tires… they have these things called lug nuts where you can take them on and off the truck.
I off-road regularly, own a build up 4th gen, and the only trim level that interests me in the Limited to build up if/when I ditch my 4th.

Are you under the impression TRD is something special? Let’s not forget Toyota rebadged the Chevy Cavalier, put a wing and body kit on it and called it a limited production TRD module.
All 4 runner are more or less mechanically the same. The Limited is the only one that has a center diff in the transfer case. The TuRD Pro and Off Road are the only ones to have a rear locking diff. The Pro gets a minor suspension upgrade, while the off road has the same suspension as a base model but with an option for KDSS, and the Limited gets XREAS. Beyond each trim level has it’s own wheels, the rest of the differences are creature comforts, electronics, and cosmetic changes. None of them get a power boost or beefier drivetrain components, or anything like that. They are are all more or less the same with small differences. It’s rather to silly to think any one is so much more capable than another... assuming it’s not a 2WD version, or the mythical 4 cylinder that only seems to exist on paper for early 5th gens.

A simple search would have returned a Hell Yes!
Obviously tires and suspension need to be changed along with adding rear air lockers. But to make it even better than the other versions (because of full time 4WD) one needs to also change some body parts for clearance. Then you have the best of all worlds.
The only things you won't have are some of the electronic gizmos like crawl control but to me full time 4WD trumps them all especially since you still would have ATRAC,

I get around just fine in my LE, even just the tire and wheel swap made light to moderate trails fine.
Given the times I've offroaded with folks in Trail or Pro's, the drivers ability is likely more defining of how the truck gets through all but the hardest stuff.
