Rubbing on stock is normal, right? RIGHT?! And is your floor not flat?

Resident paranoid guy here. Turning into a parking spot, 90 degree angle. Wheel turned one and a quarter turns (roughly 450 degrees, lock is about 520 or so). There is no whine from the steering wheel being turned too far. When I turn into the spot at moderate speed, and brake a tad there is rub. Holding the angle, it doesn't rub the entire time it doesn't "ruuuuuuuub" it "ruub" stops "ruub". Yes, I just tried to describe the rub by writing what I just wrote. Is this normal?? The rub, not me. Stock '19 Off Road.

2nd question. The front passenger foot area is not completely flat, right? There is a drop off to the right foot area. Exhibit 1A is with my artistic skill showing the line of the floors drop off. Exhibit 2A shows the floor without my powerful artwork.

My 19 OR (non-KDSS) has the same curve in the passenger foot well.

No rubbing on my tires (that I can tell) but I took my truck on day 1 to Discount Tire and had Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires in the stock size put on.

My pet peeves were the Nose Dive on Braking and Body Roll through the curves. The Eibach Pro Truck lift I had installed cured the Nose Dive and significantly reduced the body roll.

That hump in the passenger footwell is normal, however that rubbing is not. Truck is under warranty, take it to the dealer and tell them to fix it. I for one believe that as long as the truck is under warranty, let the dealer take their time to fix something is not right, my time is too precious to mess with shit.

Just lift and throw bigger tires on it and get used to the rub until you have time to get the chop done.

Thank you both! The hump is normal, got it.

The rubbing is odd. I cannot replicate in now that it isn't wetting/raining outside. I have only had the 4R for about a month and its never made any rubbing noises until that day in the rain. I looked around and didn't see anything obvious. Is the rubbing really not normal?? CRAP!

Is it rubbing or is it a popping noise from the front end? The popping is not abnormal under certain circumstances but there shouldn't be rub from the tires contacting anything with OEM suspension, wheels, and tires.

Floor looks normal.

I have intermittent rubbing at stock height when full lock in reverse. I don't care and ignore it. Lifting and going 33" I expect more issues. Oh well.

Donno about the floor thing would have to look. Why not just look under your truck and see if the bends look natural or not?

Hi! Its rubbing. Sounds almost like when a fender isn't rolled and the tire bottoms out on it. I am fully stock. I only heard it on a raining day. I couldn't replicate it today in the dry.

You do?? I didn't hear it in reverse and did try. It seems to happen turning left or right. I am okay with it if its normal, but it occurring only in the rain seemed odd.

I actually did bring it in for an alignment check. They said it was a new truck and they were sure it was fine. I didn't push the issue since it drives straight and there wasn't really an actual issue.

Oh crap. Mine drives clean.. so its not obvious if it is out. Did you pay the dealer to do it or go find another place? I can't find a good alignment/wheel place.

i paid but my service rep gave me a steep discount, if I was getting it serviced at the dealership i purchased I think they would have done it for free but I was at a different dealership.

Thanks for the information. I am feeling like that crazy person that is complaining about nothing with the alignment since it doesn't have any obvious issues or wandering. Hopefully I can get the rubbing to go away altogether or comeback with a vengeance so its an easy find and fix.
