Trying to find good looking tube steps - issue with 2019 Nightshade

I recently purchased a 2019 Nightshade edition 4Runner. My plan was to add Toyota's stock tube steps a little later on, but now I come to find out that their tube steps do not fit on either the Limited or the Nightshade trims. I don't know if my dealership is bullshitting me, or what the deal is, but now I'm trying to find some good looking tube step style running board replacements.

I like the tube step design because it isn't a chunky board running the length of the vehicle that just looks ugly to me. I'd prefer the steps to be solid metal if possible, but that's by no means a requirement. Just have to be very functional, good craftsmanship, and look a bit different so they will give my 4R a bit more personality.

The Limited/Nightshade has much lower side skirts than the other models. You have to cut them or change to the other model’s trim pieces to use the O.E. tube steps. There’s several posts here on how to do it.

Are these the predator/nfab steps, or something similar? If they're not rockers, surely you can find a way to offset them to fit the LE rocker panels by fabricating simple brackets/extensions?

If I had the nightshade, I think I would look at true rockers with a custom powder coating to match the nightshade look, but that (1) probably would cost a few extra $$ and (2) sounds like it's exactly not what you're looking for

I think the OEM power running boards work (and look) best on the nightshade.

I agree power boards look really clean, they are pretty easy to install after the fact.
