Method wheels offset / backspacing

Hey guys! So I'm running the TRD Pro wheels on 275/70/17 BFGs right now with 1 1/4" spacers. I'm in the market to pick up some Method wheels, specifically the Roost 308s in matte black. I love the look I have now with the tires are pretty much flush with the fender edge.

The Method Roost has 0 offset with 4.75" backspacing. First question, will the edge of the tire be close to what I have now (the image link didn't attach but you can kind of see it in my profile pic). Secondly, the width of the Roost is 8.5", and I'm wondering if the 275/70/17s are going to fit properly and look okay. If you've got this combo tire / wheel size I'd love to see it.

Hopefully someone will chime in, but right now it looks similar to my wheels which are -10 and 4.30. So with the new wheels minus the spacers it will probably be just a little bit set in a little from what it is now, but not by much. Your tire size will work fine on those wheels, but there won't be much of a bulge out from the rim. Probably enough to protect the rims from curbs though.

I appreciate the reply. I'm glad you mentioned the tire size because that was the other concern. Hopefully someone can offer some pictures of any 8.5" Methods with 275s; I'd like to see what the profile. I love how the tire bulge out a bit now but it's not a deal breaker. Thanks again!

My specs are -12 and 4.53 which is about 4 3/4'' so you will be fine....you may even drop the spacers if it fills the wheelwell good enough without them.

It won't stick out as far as the stock +4 Pro wheels and 1.25" spacers. Lots of guys run a 0 or -10 and still use the wheel spacers.

Thanks guys. Part of the reason to upgrade the wheels was to get rid of the spacers. I'm pretty much going for a flush-to-fender look. Doesn't sound like everyone thinks that's possible with these wheels specs w/o spacers.

Look for a wheel with a -15ish offset.

I have a friend that put 275 KO2s on stock TRD OR wheels and it looks fine. With those Method's, should look even better. I think you are probably good without the spacers with the Methods and 275 but yea, it wouldn't hurt to get a pic. Everyone's idea of offset and what looks good is different.

I'd have to take a better picture to show it's flush with the fender... the angle of the pictures aren't that great.
