Got my Pro grill put on crooked.

Is there anyway to remove the tape and get this thing off in one piece? Is driving me nuts that I have it all the way to one side with a gap on the other side. Maybe I’m just being ocd. But apparently when I was putting it on, it slid to the side and the tape was stuck before I could even try to move it.

Removal is literally the opposite of installation.

Use common sense, and slowly pull it off.

Once its off, remove the double sided tape, reinstall new double sided tape, clean painted surface and reinstall.

Maybe try carefully applying heat from a hair dryer to loosen up the adhesive?

that would work, but you still have to work slow.

Fishing line will help. It will be a pain due to the C shape of the cover but it will split the tape bond and you won’t bend that cover creating a wrinkle. Heat will help too. Hairdryer or heat gun but keep a heat gun at a distance.

I wasn't satisfied with my first installation attempt and it was easy enough to pry off with careful prying, shouldn't be an issue. Tape behind should peel up easy too if you get a solid peel roll going.

This... I've pulled mine off twice before I was happy.

Me too. It took me 3 tries to install mine correctly (pulling it off twice). I had purchased the 3M double sided tape and took it off and reapplied a fresh one each time.
