Bilstein 1.75 level and tire ?

I have a new set of 5100’s and a set of bilstein 1 in springs for the rear. I am installing Wednesday, my question is do I need new upper control arms if they are set at 1.75?? My other question is what size tires would work the best? I am currently running 265/70/17 copper rugged treks. I was thinking 255/75/17. I’m nervous about lifting it up with the 5100’s hope it still rides great. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

1.75" of total lift in the front will not require new UCA's, but you will need an alignment afterwards of course. 255/75/17 will fit without issue. Can't comment on the ride with 5100's and stock front springs (which I assume you are reusing).

I added Bilstein 5100s, they helped the nose dive and the ride was a little stiffer, not much with mine set at 0.85.

I have basically the same setup but with Eibach shocks. 1.75 front 1 rear. 265 tire. No uca.

How much caster were you able to get with the stock UCA's?

I got 3.5. I had them put the caster at 4 and back it down until toe and camber was zero.

I also have basically the same set-up, but with Eibachs. The Eibachs ride better, IMO.

I went with 285/70/17.

Caster is at 3.6 degrees with stock UCA's
